Banner Ads
Banner ads are simple graphic images backed up by pieces of HTML code, but their importance to business online is immense. Most banner ads will take you to a "landing page" or to a specific part of a web site. These small rectangular advertisements appear on many Web pages and vary considerably in subject matter, but they all share a basic function: if you click on them, your Web browser will take you to the advertiser's Web site.
